Something about October just does it to me. The air gets that first little bite in it — nothing dramatic, it is Texas after all — but enough that you notice it, and your brain just reaches for a song. Not a new one, either. Something old. Something that takes you right back to a specific afternoon, a specific car ride, a specific feeling that you forgot you had.

Right now I keep coming back to the boombox era. I do not know if it is the season or just the music conversation happening everywhere lately, but that whole world of hip-hop and retro sound is having its moment again.
And if you grew up in the age of mixtapes and Walkmans and Friday night video countdowns, you already know what I am talking about. There was something sacred about that stack of cassettes on your shelf, the way you would press play and the whole world would get a little softer and a little louder at the same time. That is why I am kind of obsessed with the Never Forget tee — those little cartoon characters holding hands on the chest, floppy disk and cassette and VHS, with the retro sunset behind them. It is playful but it hits harder than you expect, ¿verdad? Because we know what we lost and we are choosing to carry it anyway.

If you want something a little more understated but just as deep in the feeling, the Retro Cassette Grid is the one you pull out of the closet and everybody asks where you got it. Clean, old-school grid of tapes in different colors. Every music person who sees it will stop you. It just has that kind of energy — quiet but unmistakable.

October is the month when everything gets a little more intentional — the music you pick, the clothes you reach for, the stories you want to tell. These tees are printed right here by us in Robinson, DTF on quality fabric. Sizes start at $19.99. Local folks, come pick one up, we love seeing you.
Put your earbuds in. Turn it up. Wear the music.
See you next time,
Love, blessings y bendiciones.
Lola
