1) Greetings
Hey friends, happy Friday from the Station. It's the last weekend before Halloween, and Waco has plenty for the kids.
2) Prayer
Lord, thank you for this sunny Friday. Keep our families safe this weekend and bless everyone handing out candy. Amen.
3) Weather
The National Weather Service has Waco sunny today, high near 85, with a light southeast breeze. Tonight is mostly clear with a low around 57. Saturday looks sunny again, high near 84.

4) What's happening in Waco
Saturday afternoon, South Waco Library has two Halloween events back to back. Pick-a-Pumpkin Storytime runs 3 to 4 in the outdoor space. Kids pick a pumpkin from the community garden, decorate it with paint and googly eyes, then hear Halloween stories and sing spooky songs. Wear a costume. When storytime wraps, Mr. James leads everybody over to be the first ones through the Literary Haunted House, open 4 to 5:45. It's free and not too scary, and kids under 10 need an adult with them.

On Sunday, CFC in Woodway has Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 in the church parking lot at 405 Estates Dr.

5) From the Station
If your crew is heading out together, the Trick or Treat Crew tee has a jack-o'-lantern candy bucket and a little smiling ghost in orange, purple, and white. The Official Candy Inspector tee is for whoever checks the bags before anyone digs in. Here for the Snacks has a bedsheet ghost holding pizza and a juice box. All three are WCS originals in adult sizes S to 5XL.

Today I'm wearing the Trick or Treat Crew tee in black, since this weekend is all trick-or-treating and pumpkin storytime. I added the Purely Blessed gold necklace with its little pearl cross, because I like to keep my faith close even on a candy-crew day. The orange Cheerful Comeback bracelet stack looks like fall leaves, and the Monochromatic Curves gold hoops finish it off. Each piece of jewelry is $8.

See you next time,
Love, blessings y bendiciones.
